One of us is retired military, Bill, and one of us, Eric is a research scientist at a major university. Bill was a pilot; he can “fly” any machine and occasionally drives tractors into barns. Eric makes bio-diesel and laughs in the face of big petroleum.

One of us, Anna, just finished her doctorate in biological anthropology, and teaches biology at the community college. One of us, Belinda, has a BFA in ceramics, and is on the last legs of her masters in special ed, while teaching at the local elementary. Anna owns a four year old–or no, he owns her (he owns us all). Junie May, the two year old is giving him a run for his money.

One of us, Jo, is a gardener and a grandma (at last!). One of us, Bruce-Boo Boo-Bo Bo-monster child, is drawn to tractors like a moth to the flame…what he’ll be like when he’s four?!! Jo shoots the videos, and spends a lot of time trying to get Bruce to reenact one of his famous tantrums or whack the dog (looking to the future and the need for blackmail material for a sixteen year old), but he only smiles and tries to grab the camera.

One of us was a long distance, part time participant.  But Gilly moved to Albuquerque after finishing her masters in costuming. She loves the film industry. She’s managing a pizza place while she looks for the big break.

Aly came west to rediscover her family and has been working her butt off ever since. She claims to love it! In addition to helping out on the farm, she and significant other Israel have started a worm composting businesss–Happy Worms of New Mexico
